Adjoining the beautiful Mijas Golf Courses, Matchroom Country Club features fully equipped units with panoramic views of the golf courses and mountains. In addition to two outdoor swimming pools (main one heated! Picture down the page) and an indoor heated swimming pool, the clubhouse facilities include a gymnasium, jacuzzi, sauna, paddle tennis, championship snooker room, bar and restaurant. This is an absolutely luxurious complex. The best we have stayed in. Very spacious accomodation, marvellous clubhouse. Heated outdoor pool is a god send on cloudy days, (not many of those in May, though). Nearby is the very upmarket hill side village of Mijas. For nightlife, Fuengirola is only about 3 kms. It also has a fnatastic beach. Marbella is a 20 minute drive down the coast. All these assume you are not there for the golf. The pool area overlooks two golf courses. |
