STAINED GLASS WINDOW GALLERY
|
|
Here are some later examples of traditional stained glass windows made
by me! These leaded lights have been chosen for the web site to
inspire. (click on the photos for closer/larger views!).

These pairs of windows have been designed and made for a beautiful converted
barn in north west Norfolk.
The brief was for the painted centres to reflect Norfolk rural birds
and windmills, and to provide privacy without excessive loss of light.
Completed June 2003.

This stained glass window on the left, was designed and built for
an early twentieth century house in Lowestoft where the design was
chosen to complement the neighbour's.
On the right, a minimalist design where light and simplicity were
required.

This sailing dinghy was designed and built using the owner's picture
on the cover of his club magazine. He was thrilled!
The naughty fairy painting the leaves was another stained glass design
by Tim Foord that I built for his client.

This tree was made for a modern house in Suffolk where
light on the landing was a problem. The window was overlooked and so
had to be opaque, and yet maximum light was required. The owner was
thrilled with the result. Unfortunately the colours are so subtle that
they have not been picked up in this photograph.

This beautiful window was rescued for its owner in Oulton Broad. It
was very bowed out, with totally rotten lead. We restored it and replaced
it and left a very happy customer.
One of my most exciting windows from 1998. The client produced a poster
of the barn owl and this was the result. It is in fact a collage of
nine windows for a traditional Victorian front door, the centre three
being shown in this photograph.
